London - yuck

Today I realized I have posted to my blog in quite a while. So I thought I would just say hello to all my thousands of readers. Today is the first day of the Olympics and they are taking place in London. I hate London. I don't know why. I really thought I would like it, but both times I have been there, I have hated it. It is ugly and dirty. Yes, lots of cities are ugly and dirty, but they have some redeeming qualities. London, not so much. I enjoyed the Tower. I enjoyed Westminster Abby, when I finally got to see it. Long story short, it was closed the first time I tried to see it. Go figure. I found the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace the most boring thing on the face of the planet, not to mention they need to redo their uniforms. There were the crown jewels - very cool. The countryside was beautiful, but London not so much. Anyway may the force be with the atheletes. May everyone stay safe and do their best.
